Our Wedding

The Story Of Us

We were sixteen, in our final year of high school, and already good friends. Everything shifted during a Christmas play. He asked my partner to swap partners so we could perform together, singing and dancing to Santa Baby. Later that night, I received a text: “Hello Santa Baby.” And just like that, it all began. Life soon carried us on different paths. I moved to Perth, and CJ worked at sea. Long distance wasn’t easy. We missed birthdays, special moments, and little everyday things, but he always found a way to reach me, even calling on a satellite phone just to say happy birthday. In Nov 2022, we quietly married with Jacarandas in bloom, with only two of our friends. It was a moment entirely ours — supermarket flowers for my bouquet, a little squabble when I realized he was wearing a G-Shock during our wedding photos, and a small Fremantle lunch cruise to celebrate afterward. Perfectly imperfect, and exactly how we wanted it. Now, surrounded by our dearest family and friends, we’re ready to say ‘I do’ once more and celebrate a long-overdue moment of love and laughter.

What time is the ceremony?

We’ve chosen to keep our ceremony private with only immediate family in attendance. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding and look forward to seeing everyone at the reception!

What time should I arrive at the reception?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, settling in, and enjoying the pre-dinner moments.

Is there a dress code?

Kindly visit the 'Dress Code' section on our website for guidance on attire.

How can I RSVP?

Please RSVP directly on our website by June 22. We can’t wait to know you’ll be there to celebrate with us!

Can I bring children?

Our celebration is intended to be an intimate adult-only evening. We appreciate your understanding.

What happens if I arrive late?

To ensure the evening unfolds smoothly as intended, we kindly ask guests to arrive on time. Once the program begins, our coordinator may not be able to accommodate late entry. Thank you for helping us maintain the flow of the celebration.

Can I take photos during the ceremony or dinner?

Instead of screens, we’d love to see smiles, conversations, and glasses clinking during the ceremony and dinner. Being present with us means the world. Our photographers will take care of the rest — no memory will go uncaptured.
